Musicals

Musical theatre (stage musical), a live theatrical show on stage where the drama progresses by means of music, song and (often) dance
Musical film, the film analog of the musical theatre

Basically, a musical is any performance, stage or film, where the story is told through the means of song and sometimes dance. There can be, and often is, spoken word as well (example: Grease) though some musicals are only music and dance (example: Les Miserables).

I have been a huge fan of musicals since I was very little, and have been to see too many to count, as well as owning a large DvD collection; I would again like to thank Joey for passing this fanlisting to me.
